I have been fortunate that as a young person I had access to both slab-work and wheel throwing through the schools I attended; starting in elementary school, through middle school, high school, and even college. I even attended a Summer wheel throwing class at a local recreation center which only helped to increase my love for the craft.

While I was (and may still be) clearly an amateur, working with clay has always been a calm, relaxing activity that I thoroughly enjoy.

I am not currently practicing, but hope to return to the hobby when I can.
