Introducing Emily

Hi, I’m Emily! An adaptable, approachable, and client-focused visual designer with extensive customer service experience.

I am an out-going Colorado native who has a keen eye for detail and am skilled in visual communication and quality design.

I have seven years of experience working with brand, logo, and website design, as well as digital marketing, in the software-as-a-service (SAAS) industry where I created and launched hundreds of functional websites for diverse clients of all backgrounds.

During the past seven years, I also wrote a wide variety of internal and client-facing support content. I had daily collaborations with clients, coworkers, and leadership. I frequently configured client domain names and email accounts (DNS), and more. While not limited to simply brand and website design, I am also capable of developing aesthetically pleasing print products and other digital media of various different types, as well as other forms of physical art.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication and Design from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC, 2018) with emphases in graphic design, ceramics, printmaking, and biology.

I previously attended the UNC School of Nursing and worked as a CNA until I changed my major and followed my true passion for creating impactful and meaningful products, art, and designs through digital and physical means.

Get to know me more…

If I’m not hard at work, I enjoy snuggling up on my couch with a big cup of herbal tea, and watching my favorite TV shows or movies while my cat, Zena, quietly purrs near me. I also like reading and playing diverse video games.

Though, when I’m not indulging the black mirrors, I am taking care of my pets and aquariums, which includes an axolotl named Hup, and various shrimp, snails, and fish. I am also fond of working on my various other crafts/hobbies. Crochet is my current obsession.

I can’t forget tending to my plethora of houseplants, too!

When I’m not at home, I can be found birding, hiking, camping, or exploring the great outdoors with my significant other, best friend, and photography partner, Tom Work, as we’re always looking for the next best shot!
